Elizabeth Thorn Biography

This project has as its goal the collection of material relating to the life and work of Elizabeth Thorn in order to facilitate the writing of a history of her life and role in the promotion of language arts and teacher education in Ontario and more specifically at Nipissing University. We seek community assistance in collecting photographs, letters, papers, and other material relating to her early life, her career as a local teacher and her career as an academic. We would also like to collect 'stories' about Elizabeth. If you have a story you would like to share, in writing or in an oral history interview, we would like to hear from you.
